This vintage tin is deep mustard yellow with beautiful decorative black lithographic print and design work around the edging. The writing states Rich's Crystallized Canton Ginger Tin. It was manufactured by E.C. Rich, Inc., New York in the early 1900s. The crystallized ginger was a popular spicy snack used to aid with indigestion.
This tin is in quite remarkable condition for its age with minimal scratches to the surface and no dents or rust. The inside is also clean with normal oxidation to metal.
It measures approximately 6 inches long, 3 3/4 inches wide and 1 inch deep.
