This is a wonderful, hard-to-find basket that was designed to hold round Pyrex dishes and would often come with a newly purchased Pyrex set. The handles appear to be made of a leather or leatherite, and are very securely attached. The basket is made of a combination of woven wood and a heavy natural cord with a pressed board base.
