This vintage tin was made by Viau, a Montreal-based candy company. It's perfect for those Canadian tin collectors out there and it has a great backstory, too. These tins were made in the 1940s and were used to sell candies in local corner stores. They would hold shell-shaped candies inside. This tin still has its shiny candy apple colour with gold lettering. It has some slight wear to the lid, as shown in the photos, but is otherwise in great pre-owned condition.
The tin measures 6 inches in height and in height and 10 inches in diameter.
